The small family-run winery Tenuta la Fratta produces IGT Toscana white and red wine with Bioagricert organic certification. The vineyards extend for approximately one hectare on a hilly bank facing south with excellent exposure to the sun. The wine born from the passion for the land, following traditions, attentive to innovations and always respecting nature.

THE VINEYARDS
ORGANIC AGRICULTURE

A beautiful 40-year-old vineyard sloping in rows made up of 2500 vines, a new vineyard planted in 2019 made up of 1600 Viognier vines and 900 Merlot vines, a small ancient vineyard.

We grow exclusively with the Bioagricert certified organic method for greater respect for the environment, the soil and for a healthier wine.

Artisan cultivation, production, bottling with manual methods always attentive to the quality of the wine.

Labels


The labels were designed by the artist Daria Cerchi. They depict a sketch of the nymph of the thermal waters, symbol of Bagni di Lucca

70% Trebbiano 30% Malvasia Candia

Deep straw yellow color, evidence of a medium skin maceration. Aroma of dry rock rose and stone, evolved and mature nose. Soft, slightly acidic but structured entrance.

DIVALE

IGT TOSCANA RED

80% Merlot-10% Malvasia 5% Sirah 5% Canaiolo

13.5% vol

Intense ruby color with lively violet nuances. Enveloping nose with fruity and wild violet notes. Persuasive and soft entrance with a structure typically attributed to the Tuscan hills.

80% Merlot-10% Malvasia 5% Sirah 5% Canaiolo

13.0% vol

Aged for 12 months in French oak barriques. Slightly garnet color with mauve nuances. Nose rich in spices and sweet aromas, coconut, almond and cloves. Enveloping, soft entrance with a surprising retronasal return of bitter cocoa.

The Olive grove


The olive-grove composed of 200 olives-trees, the olive-season is in october-november, picked by hand and the olive-oil is without chimical substance.
